Diy: full "floating" bed frame

What you will need: 2- 2x4s cut to 72 5/8 inches  2- 2x4s cut to 53 inches 7-2x4s cut to 49 9/16 inches 4-2x4s cut to 33 inches 1-1x6 60 and 3/8 inches 2-1x6 72 and 1/2 inches  3-inch screws 2-inch screws White paint(optional)  Stain(Optional)  Tape lights(Optional)  To begin I just want to say this was created by ourselves and we measured and cut everything by ourselves this is not in any way sponsored or copied.  Directions:  First, to begin you want to make sure that you cut all the wood to the right length to make this bed frame. Since we painted our 2x4s white so we could but the sticker lights under the 1x6s. Also, we stained the 1x6s (vintage aqua by Rustoleum).  Then we screwed the square together which is the four 2x4s cut to 33 inches we screwed them together with the 3-inch screws. This is to go under the bed to make it 'float' This will go in the middle of the bed. Next, you will screw the two 2x4s cut to 72 5/8 inches and the two 2x4s cut to 53 inches, we screwed these together with the 3-inch screws. When with the slacks you will need to remove with the box from underneath and put the 5 slacks down and screw them in with the 3-inch screws.  Then, you will flip over the bed frame back on top of the box and screw it with the 3-inch screws. Then the other two 2x4s that you cut the same size as the slacks will be up under first slack towards the front of the bed frame and the second one will be under the slack towards the foot of the bed, you will need to screw these down with 3-inch screws.  The next thing you need to do is add the two 1x6 72 and 1/2 inches to the top of the frame, but on the side and then screw them down with the 2-inch screws. Then you screw the one 1x6 60 and 3/8 inches on the top of the bed but at the foot of the bed, also screw this with 2-inch screws. (please note: that this is only for looks the board will break off if you stand on it.) After this step then you can up your tape lights underneath the 1x6s.(This step is optional)  We hope you enjoy your new 'floating' bed frame;) Email us if you have any questions!!
